We met as a group a few times, to jam around some tunes. We all initially decided that we’d record some kind of 70’s soul track, as we enjoyed that style when we practiced. The group eventually decided upon Superstition by Stevie Wonder. We figured we could play the majority of the track ourselves, and we knew of people we could invite in to perform certain specific parts. We began with the core element of the track, the drums.
